Due to the current circumstances, we are making the following changes regarding tree seedling pickup:
Trees will be available for pick up at the office Tuesday, April 14th through Friday, April 17th from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. For after-hours pickup, please call the office to make arrangements. When picking up trees, please pull down to the lower level parking lot, and someone will be available to hand your order to you. There will be no need to get out of your car or enter the office.
If you live in-county and are unable to make it to the office for pick up, we will get your order delivered to you on Friday, April 17th, but you must call the office at 740-368-1921 before noon Thursday, April 16th to request delivery.
Download our order form for our annual tree sale. Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Order early to ensure you get the species you desire. Seedlings are bare rootstock, dipped in a preservative gel, and placed in a plastic bag. Seedlings should be planted as soon as possible and should be watered regularly for viability. Delaware SWCD does not offer reimbursements for trees that don’t survive. For more detailed information and photos of each species, visit the ODNR Division of Forestry web page.
