The cicadas are chirping, school is starting back up, and everyone is getting ready for the county fair once again. The district has a full schedule of events planned during the 2018 Delaware County Fair to entertain every member in the family. Activities include as always make and take buckeye necklaces, conservation games. Returning again this year the Division of Wildlife Archery Trailer, and the Johnstown Community Sportsman’s Club BB Shooting Range, as well as the ever popular Cabela’s outdoor cooking demonstration where guests are able to taste samples of food prepared while you watch. New this year we have make and take activities such as grapevine wreaths, t-shirt bags, and tree cookie necklaces. Staff have also added activities to include the last two days of the fair. Weather you are looking for a quite spot to sit and cool off or want to find out the latest district activities come visit the Conservation Park on the south side if the Junior Fair Pig and Lamb Barn.
