Bret Davis, owner of Davis Seed LLC and local agricultural producer in Troy Township, was awarded the 2018 Cooperator of the Year by Delaware Soil & Water Conservation District Board Chair, Sue Cunningham. Bret and his family have a long and rich history of implementing best management practices to improve water quality and soil health, ranging from traditional grass waterways and subsurface drainage to high tech precision nutrient management and soil testing. Bret’s dedication to agriculture is well known as the family often welcomes groups for tours.
