A local Girl Scout troop descended upon the Natural Resources Area at the county fairgrounds with one goal in mind – help pollinators, including bees. The troop constructed a bee hotel (a structure for bees and wasps to use for shelter and raising offspring) and planted native forbs used by bees and butterflies for food. The Delaware Soil and Water Conservation District thanks the troop for their hard work and Natives in Harmony Greenhouse (Marengo, Ohio) for a donation of native prairie plants.
