The SWCD, in partnership with Franklin SWCD, Keep Delaware County Beautiful, and Morrow County Recycling, will host a series of workshops focusing on hands-on learning activities so teachers, naturalists, youth leaders, and others can incorporate environmental education into their everyday lesson plans. For each session completed, one graduate credit hour will be awarded from Ashland University. Session I is June 18-19, 2019 and Session II is June 25-26, 2019. Session I is exploring streams, water sources, watersheds, and land uses, while session II offers hands-on learning activities using recycling with STEM and everyone receives a worm composting bin.
