Visit the Natural Resources Park at the Delaware County Fairgrounds
The Delaware SWCD’s Natural Resources Park is adjacent to the swine and lamb barns at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. The area provides examples of what conservation-minded homeowners can landscape on their own properties.
At the Natural Resources Park (during the fair) you’ll be able to explore a:
- Water Garden
- Edible Garden
- Native Prairie Garden
- Rain Garden
The park provides an oasis for visitors during the county fair each September, as well as a host site for educational events. The garden gazebo and conservation education building on the site offer shelter and shade while you stroll the walkway.
